NBA Volunteers with Habitat for Humanity

A team of NBA’s Young Professionals Forum and 2019 summer interns spent their Saturday volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, a global nonprofit housing organization that works in local communities across every state in the U.S. The group reported bright and early to Bankhead, a neighborhood located west of downtown Atlanta, where they helped build a new four bedroom/two bath house. When complete, the home will be approximately 1,200 square feet. Future homeowner, Vanessa, was also on site all day working alongside the volunteers.
