The MARK
Athens, Georgia
Summary
Steps from the University of Georgia campus, The Mark integrates luxury student housing, corporate offices and street level retail into a lively, mixed-used development in downtown Athens. Drawing inspiration from its historical context, this two-building community is anchored into the site through its use of brick and stone cladding, while incorporating modern finishes and motifs. Inside, the amenity-filled spaces strive to engage residences with texture, color and light, offering students high-tech spaces to interact with one another. In addition to the developer’s corporate headquarters, the complex houses nearly 930 students in more than 300 units varying in size from single-person studios to two-story, five-bedroom apartments with rooftop patios.
