Katherine Uhrin, AIA, NCARB
Project manager
Katherine takes on each project with an openness to finding new and better ways of solving problems, and as a catalyst for change, shares those insights with colleagues. By thinking proactively, she can anticipate and head off possible hitches ahead.
In leading projects from start to finish across the country, Katherine relies on a broad base of knowledge spanning all phases of design and construction. Communication and active collaboration throughout the entire process are her keys to positive outcomes. The proof is in the pudding, two of her projects won multiple design awards: Camden Buckhead in Atlanta received a 2022 AIA Atlanta Residential Design Honor Award, and Flamingo Crossings Village in Orlando earned a 2023 Multifamily Executive Merit Award and 2023 National Association of Home Builders Best in American Living Platinum Award. Katherine concentrates on market-rate, mixed use, and student housing. She also organizes and hosts design roundtables internally to review active projects across NBA’s studios and disciplines.
She has a Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Interior Architecture from Auburn University. She’s active in the firm’s recruitment efforts for NBA, conducting interviews, attending career fairs, and providing mentorship. Additionally, Katherine serves on Auburn University’s Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture Advisory Council.
