After 29 years—the last four with NBA—in the business, Taylor is quite adept at anticipating the next question. His idea of a good project is not predicated on big budgets, but on planning that solves client objectives.
Having worked on a wide variety of project types, including corporate, hospitality, retail, public and higher education, Taylor has the ability to see the big picture, keep the team on track, and come up with cohesive, efficient solutions. His strong leadership ensures that the correct team is assembled and mentored to effectively deliver design excellence. He has received multiple local and international project design awards, published in numerous national trade publications and earned honors for service of dedication as membership chair of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA). For NBA, he is concentrating on corporate, multifamily and mixed-use complexes with hospitality components and thematic design elements.
Taylor attended the University of Alabama and has a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. He is developing standards for quality control along with a new education platform for the interiors studio. He is enhancing professional development in the interiors studio through “eye on design,” subject matter expert training, quality control revisions and design reviews. He is a past member and chair of IIDA, a member of ASID and the Green Building Council and served as a guest lecturer at the Savannah College of Art and Design.
Clients rely on Michael’s depth of knowledge and determination to keep the glass half full. By thinking through all of the “what ifs,” he is always prepared to tackle unforeseen situations and point to a positive direction for success.

He has a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Master of Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Michael spearheads the firm’s Technical Advisory Council, which focuses on the quality and delivery of NBA’s technical services with the goal of achieving industry recognition as “Best in Class.”
Being flexible allows April to jump in and help whenever there is a need, a valuable trait given the size and diversity of NBA projects. She’s a stickler for following through, ensuring questions and problems get answers and solutions that keep projects moving and clients satisfied.
Communication, adaptability and superb execution are April’s calling cards. She has the ability to bring clarity to ideas, both verbally and visually through design drawings. Currently, she’s involved in a high-rise residential development and a range of student housing projects. April also has gained expertise in accessibility reviews. Understanding the often confusing, opaque and sometimes contradictory code requirements in different states, is critical knowledge she’s able to share with colleagues. She’s part of an award-winning team honored by the American Concrete Institute for The Standard at Atlanta, an off-campus luxury student residence.
April, who brings more than 10 years of experience to the firm, has a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Master of Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
