For the second year in a row, a team of NBAers laced up their running shoes for the Ragnar Trail Race! The 125.6-mile competition took place at the Georgia International Horse Park, a venue located 30 miles from Atlanta that was originally built for the 1996 Summer Olympics.

The race consisted of 3 different loops, each varying in distance and difficulty level. This year’s team, Do I Hear Banjos, included Paul Laseter (Landscape Architecture), Brittany Holian (Interior Design), and architects Brian Whelan, Bradley Green, David Xu, Holden Holley and Ian Hoffman. The team crushed the competition, finishing with a time of 20:11:19, putting them in 1st out of 16 for Corporate Teams and with a 10th place out of 204 overall!

“It was a great race,” said David, “filled with challenges and fun memories, but most importantly, an opportunity to bond as friends and coworkers outside the office in the setting of the great outdoors.”

A big thanks to team captain, Paul Laseter, for spearheading the planning and organization of the event. Now that the hard work is over, it’s time to rest those legs!
