NBAers Party Like It’s 1995

After 26 years of waiting to reclaim their title, the Atlanta Braves finally hoisted the 2021 World Series trophy in the air last Tuesday night. To celebrate the victory of their hometown team, NBAers devoured Mellow Mushroom, another Atlanta institution, while they watched the World Series parade together. Victory never tasted so good!

Earlier in the week, the excitement was palpable in State Farm Arena, where colleagues headed to cheer on their Atlanta Hawks on the heels of the Braves’ long-awaited victory. In true firm fashion, NBA showed up for the NBA, but the Hawks were not victorious! Hopefully the Hawks can better their run of the Eastern Conference Finals from last season and make it into The Finals. If so, one thing is for certain. . .NBAers will be ready to celebrate!
