The Suzuki school
Atlanta, Georgia
Summary
Suzuki School is an adaptive re-use of an under-utilized basement level at a local Synagogue in Buckhead. Working within structural constraints of the existing building, the NBA team integrated light and art to create a playful childcare environment supporting the Suzuki method, which is focused on incorporating music education into child development. The design maximizes available day light and creates a vibrant outdoor playground environment to meet current safety standards while providing age appropriate spaces for young children to run and play.
