Project: The Heritage Project
Client: Aaron's, Inc.
Aaron's, “The Heritage Project,” started with the first rental chair and morphed into a desire to retain historical culture in an age where company heritage is often overlooked. The client wished to brand their corporate headquarters with a thorough overview that included the stepping stones the company has taken, over its 62-year history, to achieve success.
Our team was commissioned to brand over a dozen specific spaces in their new headquarters, spanning three floors of a commercial building in Atlanta, Georgia. Working closely with the Aaron's internal marketing team to sift through new and archival material, we were able to generate one-of-a-kind graphic designs that communicated the client’s history, user demographic, internal wordage, and a visual reminder of the company’s driving goals and core missions. This exciting project served as a daily reminder for the employees to remember the history of the firm, and educate new and existing clients of the journey Aaron’s has taken.
Utilizing modern graphic software to produce the artwork internally, our team was integral to the production and planning of these final graphic and branding designs. We strategically located each of the designs in areas of the new headquarters to capitalize on visibility and overall message. For instance, the “Guiding Principles” was near the break room, an area used daily by all employees, as a critical feature of the client’s core values. We utilized the interior color schemes into The Heritage Project to ensure that the branding additions appeared seamless to users.

Project: Wildwood of Baton Rouge Clubhouse
Client: Dovetail
Nestled in the heart of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, this off-campus student housing project presents a unique approach to student living amenities, creating a resort like environment of indoor and outdoor “rooms” in the approximately 10,000 square-feet of amenity space. Our client’s main objective was to design a distinct, modern Clubhouse that provides social and study areas for groups of all sizes.
As the design developed, the team took a fresh approach to create a unique atmosphere for students using the space. The concept implements the layering of classic colors, materials, and textures to create timeless design. Small vignettes surround a central stair/elevator core, providing spaces that are comfortable when occupied by small or large groups. Intimacy within the double-height spaces is achieved by break-out areas, booths and benches in various sizes - with a combination of small living/study rooms and larger community spaces. Outdoor “rooms” surrounding the clubhouse expand the environment and alternatives for the students. Meeting the student needs, while providing choices, was the key goal for this interior and exterior solution.
The Interior Design scope of work includes three main amenity buildings; the Leasing Office, Clubhouse, and Fitness Center as well as the exterior pool deck. The design team scope of services includes: space planning, construction permit documents, lighting and finish selection, construction administration, furniture specifications and custom furniture/lighting design.
